Question Bedroom slide out moving up/down when extending or retracting

I have a 2005 Monaco LaPalma with 2 slides. The 2 foot deep rear slide (bed/closet) is giving us issues when extending or retracting as it sags sown when it is about 1/2 way in/out and scrapes along the floor damaging the side trim of the slide, etc before popping back up right before it is fully extended or retracted. When I removed everything under the bed and the plywood covering the slide motor/track I can see that the bolts securing the track to the slide out floor are loose. I tried to tighten them and even added some extra bolts but there does not seem to be anything to hold them in except for the thin plywood on the slide floor so the bolts are not holding.

I am not sure how to fix this... The current thought is have is to add a "support base" under where the slide cones into the motorhome. The slide comes iin 4 inches above the floor so I am thinking of making a 2*4 based support with 1/2 inch pvc trim board on top to give it a smooth surface to slide on and take the weight off the bolts between the slide mechanism and side floor. I an not sure though if this will add too much friction and burn out the motor or cause other issues.

Thoughts/suggestions?

I have seen something like this before. Put the slide out, go outside and look at the bottom of the slide. There are support rollers on each side that roll on the floor of the slide. I have seen the rollers tear the floor up allowing the slide to fall onto the opening. The solution is to have metal strips installed in these areas for the rollers to run on.

I put heavy casters under the large couch/dinette slide on my unit, solved the problem.Must pay close attention to where they can be bolted without hitting anything, The rollers were non marring type,( at lowes) Casters are on inboard side of slide, bolted to slide thru floor of slide

Sounds like slide out rollers are damaged or there is something that they are running over. With slide out all the way out, go out and under the slide out room pull down the rubber seal and look to see if you can see the rollers. You might need a flash light.

Thanks for the suggestions - I will look under the slide-out first thing in the morning and check for rollers / damage.

Problem solved - I hope... I searched everywhere on the bottom and top of the slide but could not find rollers. It seems like the slide is only supported by the rails bolted into the floor under the bed and then into the floor of the slide. Since the bolts mounting the rail to the slide were not holding, I ended up mounting a metal beam under the bed horizontally to the rails and bolting that into the bottom of the slide with carriage bolts coming up from under the outside of the slide (being careful to tighten enough so they do nor protrude further then the slide bottom. This seems to have solved the problem and does not seem to cause any extra friction when the slide is brought in or out.
