Been Awhile

It's been awhile since I have been on here, we came off the road 3 yrs ago and have been treating some medical problems and are winning. We have decided to start the search for a newer and bigger rig than Gladys is, she has been a good one but just not big enough. We looked at a 2000 Monoco Signature 45 ft rig today. Does anyone have any experience with this make and model, the one we looked at has the 500 hp motor, the one thing that is weird to us was the over sized rear closet with rotating clothes rack, also were there is access panels to motor. Wondering what kind of fuel mileage and if there are any real issues we need to look for, it's priced right for the condition, not rough but needs some TLC..Thanks for any info. And anyone looking for a 33 ft rig to renovate let me know..

There have been many threads on fuel economy....my findings are that you will get 7.5 - 8.5 MPG. Same as mine, same as most all others.

Can't help you with your question, but congratulations on getting past the medical problems and being able to hit the road again. I hope you are having great travels very soon!
