Beeping Under Dash Holiday Rambler

Hi, my 2003 Endeavor has this intermittent beeping under the dash. When it happens I check everything out and cant find anything wrong. Cant find anything in the factory manual. One time I knew my wife had hit the slide button in the bedroom before we started up and it had moved out a half inch so I ran it back in and it went away. today, I put the slides in and it started up again, reset the slides and it didn't help. hit a bump and it went away then later came back. got home and while turning the bus around, it suddenly stopped. can anyone tell me what the beep is indicating possibly and if the slide sensors are a problem or if there is something else to look for thx

If you have hydraulic jack there is a reservoir tank. If the jacks are up and the fluid is low there will be a dinging sound. Put some fluid in it when the jacks are up, mine takes steering fluid, there should be a line on the side of the tank showing how full to fill it.

Is it the loud gong? If so it is probably the parking brake sensor going out. To test, next time it starts shift the transmission to neutral and see if the alarm ceases.

I had a problem with a very low beeping (only my DW could here it) caused by moisture on the engine oil sending unit. But this only happened when running in the rain.

Good Luck

I had that happen and it was a low air sender on the front air tank that was the culprit. I found it by unplugging the wire from the sending unit on the tank. I believe the rear tanks have them as well.
Also another option is the park brake sensor on the bottom of your park brake knob will do this as well. Good luck in your search.

Had the same thing on my Endeavor a few weeks ago, it started as an intermittent beep? It ended up being the sensor tied to the parking brake. It was made by Nason, you have to take out the screws to the driver panel and lift up carefully so you don't pull other wires loose. It is attached to the emergency air Brake. It took about 20 Mimnutes to replace. I took a picture of it and sent to the rv repair shop that does service on our rig, and he mailed it to me, it ran about 60.00 dollars. Regards
