On my 2000 Coachman I had a water panel where the shore water connected. There are a series of valves for different conditions. I remember having to stop and think which valve was for what. Example;
1. shore water inlet to RV
2. shore water fill to fresh water storage tank
3. fresh water storage tank to RV
4. hot water tank bypass
5. low point water storage tank drain
I am thinking this is what 1pauley is asking. If the markings have rubbed off or something like that I can understand his confusion.
1pauley, just turn on the shore water and listen to what is happening. Don't worry about doing any damage. Just be sure the water pressure is at or below 40 psi. You can buy a water pressure regulator at any RV outlet. You may also want to take out the hot water tank drain plug so you know when the hot water bypass is open. Good luck.
