Sorry but I a not sure what you mean by water control panel. Are you talking about the one that sets inside one of your outside departments with four or five knobs on it?

I do not know what you are calling a water control panel, but most all rigs have a similar water system.

Water gets into the coach via a shore water hose hook up in the utility bay.

The shore water can be used to pressurize all the faucets in the coach

or

The shore water can be diverted to fill your on board water tank.

An on board water pump, can then pump the water from the tank to the faucets. This is normally used when not connected to shore water source.

Water from the sinks and shower likely go to the grey water tank.

Water from the toilets drain to the black water tank.

A three inch slinky hose is used to drain the black (first) and the grey tanks to a sewer connection.

The water control panel might address some or all of these features.

On my 2000 Coachman I had a water panel where the shore water connected. There are a series of valves for different conditions. I remember having to stop and think which valve was for what. Example;

1. shore water inlet to RV
2. shore water fill to fresh water storage tank
3. fresh water storage tank to RV
4. hot water tank bypass
5. low point water storage tank drain

I am thinking this is what 1pauley is asking. If the markings have rubbed off or something like that I can understand his confusion.

1pauley, just turn on the shore water and listen to what is happening. Don't worry about doing any damage. Just be sure the water pressure is at or below 40 psi. You can buy a water pressure regulator at any RV outlet. You may also want to take out the hot water tank drain plug so you know when the hot water bypass is open. Good luck.
