Best Class A Diesel layout when slides are in?

Which makes/models do you find are best in comfort for travelling when slides are in? Looking for the best layout to still be able to access the fridge and bathroom comfortably. Looking to stay under 200,000 in price whether new or used.

Almost all Newmar's can have access to fridge and bathroom with slides in.

Fleetwood "K" series floorplans are pretty accessible with the slides in. My wife and I have even slept crossways on the bed with the slides in. Center bath is accessible as is the kitchen. Accessibility with the slides in was one of our criteria when choosing a floorplan.

2008 American Eagle 42F. When all slides are in front bath and fridge are accessible. We regularly stop at highway rest areas and have lunch. Sleeping with all slides in is OK. We have a king size bed.

When all 3 slides are open, there is a ton of room!

I think you need to realize that current RV builders are making what buyers want......large rooms when the coach is being lived in, which is typically 90% of the time, driving being 10% or less.

With that said, EVERY coach allows bathroom access while underway, that's why the half bath was invented. My aisle is pretty tight, but I can access the half bath and retrieve food from the cabinets and refer while driving. We can even sit 4-5 for lunch while closed. If you want large spacious walkways, you'll be giving up room size as the slides will have to be shallow. I would rather have the large slides.

Our Phaeton is pretty accessible. Can't get to the 2 bedroom dresser drawers or the washer & dryer when slides are in & I have to do a stop-drop-n-roll over the bed to get to the rear bath, but can get to all I need to with our slides in.

Being able to have/prepare lunch at a rest stop even if I can't deploy slides was why we picked this floorplan.

My 2000 Monaco Dynasty Regent with two driver’s-side slides is fully usable with slides in. A few customizations have rendered it accessible by wheelchair from the cockpit to the bedroom-slides in.

The wheelchair being mandatory, I wouldn’t and couldn’t have it any other way.

My rig has full access to the bathroom and even the shower when closed. My only serious limitations are I can only open one refrigerator door at a time, no access to the LR television or fireplace, and I can’t open the bedroom dresser drawers. If we slept with it closed up, I would have to climb over Kevin too. Oh well. Even when we Wally dock we find a spot where we can open up at least one side of the coach. Doesn’t matter which side, and I have full access around the bed and to the dresser.

This makes no sense to me.

We can walk down the center of the coach normally, with slides in. We have 18" curb slides, and 32" deep road side slides, not counting the thickness of the walls.

Look at older models with no slides, everything will be accessible all of the time.

True, but when you are set up, try squeezing past someone.

How many people are you trying to accommodate?

“Six for drinks, four for dinner, two sleeping together” don’t need no slides.

Neither do four sleeping together.
