Looking for some input on best coverage and value on a coach which provider do you prefer best ?

Tough question. I think a lot of members report being very happy with USAA (I think that's the company which handles military/government employees).

I've had Progressive for 7 years. They've been OK and paid the one claim I submitted without issue... but, like many others, I've seen my rates climb every year. Seems to be the M.O. of these companies.

We have our insurance through USAA/Progressive. USAA subcontracts with Progressive for RV insurance.

Just replaced a State Farm Policy with National General (formerly GMAC) and saved some dollars and have better deductibles. I like the storage option as well with the new policy to save a few more dollars.

Do any of you all use like coach net to supplement insurance as well

The Fleetwood Pulse group that I am on, tries to keep a running list of insurance rates. So far, ours is the highest on the list. We are the only ones AL which probably has higher rates, and we insured just as though our RV was our car, where I think some tend to do the minimum.

I just completed a search and found Geico to be the least expensive

My experience is that the big companies may offer great savings on first year premiem but beware of second year, especially if you have a claim. I started a couple of years ago with GMAC (GS) for MH, had a big claim then BAM, second year premium really took a big hike. I now find "bundleing" with SAFECO for home/auto/MH turns out much more economical for me.

Got mine originally through GMAC... WAAAAYYY cheaper than anyone else. We have home/auto with Geico.
3 months later, they sent a notice that it had more than doubled because "they were using the wrong tables". Sounded too much like a bait and switch deal. After complaining, they dropped down to the original price (until next renewal when it went back up again).
When it went back up they were still slightly less than Geico so stayed with them.
Meanwhile, had a wreck in my car when someone ran a red light... Totalled!!!!
Geico handled the claim great including refunding my deductible when the other party accepted liability.
Next renewal from GMAC.... 40% increase, supposedly due to an 'at-fault' accident.
Had to jump through some hoops to prove it was a no-fault accident before they lowered it back down again.
GMAC are still slightly lower than Geico but may switch due to how Geico handled my claim.

I agree - bundling should save money - I was with Progressive and quite frankly have no complaints there - but when I read a similar thread here I had my agent check about switching it to Safeco (since that is where my cars are now) and found it saved a lot! The question always is do they cover the MH the way it needs to be covered and since insurance can be so complicated to understand - it is hard to know the answer to that.

I have Blue Sky through an agent here in southern New Jersey that specializes in RV and Boat Ins. It runs $333. for the year. I have a 2000 Class A which I don't use on a full time basis, which I understand changes the premium. I bundle my house and car through AAA, which saves here in NJ the auto ins rate capital of the country, but AAA doesn't write RV ins here in NJ. Look around the web and send some inquiries. Blue Sky, they specialize in RV's only!! Great rate saved over $1500.00 vs Progressive!

I had fear SAFECO might not handle roadside assistance as my current RA would feel best not to go exclusively with their RA rider, not overall big saving to premium, but some.
