best place to leave rv in florida

Hi Everyone, We are travelling to Florida this fall to park our RV for the winter. Any suggestions on the best rv parks that have storage. We need it to be accessible to airport so that we can come and go through the winter. Looking at KOA south of Orlando but wondered if anyone has a good recommendation.

Thanks Chris

We did exactly what you are considering last winter. We were originally going to put coach in storage while we were away, but opted to just rent a site for the entire winter to make it easier for my DW to visit without me. We found a site at Citrus Valley in Clermont. Liked the park so much we ended up buying a site and they refunded our rent. Check them out.

Thanks for the info, basically looking for a good place to store it for the winter as we can only get back down to Florida once during the winter and then back down in the spring to bring it home to Ontario. We might stay in the park where it is stored for a week or so but want to travel around as well while we are there.

There are many, many places that you can store RVs in FLA. A lot of Self Storage facilities offer space. That's where I store my camper when I am not using it. Remember that not all have 120 volt electric available, so a small solar panel (15-30 watts) is a good way to keep your batteries charged up.

Google "Uncle Bob's Storage" Lots of locations in FLA.
