I'm new to this forum,I have just purchased 2000 Winnebago journey and I'm replacing the carpet throughout the coach and would like to know best laminate options.any thoughts? Also I have pulled the carpet around the drivers area and off of the steps.

I used Mannington Commercial vinyl planks. So far it is holding up well. The slide rollers have not left any damage and it is easy to work with. I would use it again.

We used the vinyl planking from Lumber Liquidators. It is very similar to Home Depots Allure, but it has a stone texture instead of a wood look. It is a completely floating floor and was very easy to install. The slide question is a good question you need to answer. To eliminate the slide height problem we left all of the carpet under the slide rail. This basically assured us that the slide would be the same height as before. Many folks that has removed the carpet under the slide rail had problems with the new flooring getting gouged due to the lower slide height.

I would use vinyl instead of laminate (which water will easily damage). There are some really nice looking vinyl options out there now.

There's no real answer as to what is the "best" flooring. It's all a matter of what you like. We decided to use the 12" premium vinyl tiles in a diamond pattern. We love it!

Thanks for the info. My mh does have a slide and does not have rollers on it. I decided on the allure vinyl with the sticky edges. So far during installation it looks great. Now if it will hold up.
