Where I come from two gallons a minute equals one gallon per half minute.

Did someone's sense of humor take the weekend off?

I've had problems with Thetford toilets over the years, and spoken to enough other users and RV service people who have advise me to go with Sealand/Dometic products. The cheap Thetford Bravura in our new 34TGA was 'uncomfortable to use' and while it had not yet gone defective, we recently replaced it with a very nice Dometic 320 ( ceramic bowl ) unit. We are extremely pleased with it...and the ceramic bowl is a whole lot easier to keep clean.

I have Tecma Silence (electric/ceramic) and am not pleased with its generous use of water. Also having trouble with incomplete flushes and backflow. Anyone else having trouble with these units?

Sorry about your Tecma Silence toilet.
I hope someone has an answer for your "incomplete flushes" and "backflow" problems.
Ain't RV technology wonderful?

BTW, IMO an "electric RV toilet" is as useful, and as necessary, as "electric toilet" paper.
