I cleaned the area well and sanded it lightly, the used the ABS adhesive, with a piece of aluminum window screen material to give it more strength. I then converted it with self-vulcanizing take. That was in May, and its holding well.
Normal epoxies won't bond a well to ABS, so look for a major brand name type that is recommended for ABS.

Thanks

I've worked with PVC that is often used in sprinkler systems, but I'm not sure if this would be the same.
I wish the joint was something I could just tighten, but I'm assuming it's glued not screwed.

I decided to use JB Weld and so far no leak.

Do you think there is any chance of applying additional cement to the area and fixing the leak? The pipe is not under pressure since it just dumps into the grey tank, or is that just doing it half arsed?

I think there is a good chance of fixing it like that. Make a paste out of ABS glue and ABS plastic shavings and use it like a putty. I've fixed lots of ABS plastic stuff with that mixture.

J-B Weld makes some great products, for that project I would have used water weld. I repaired a flowing leak in a 10,000 gallon galvanized steel tank with it. I don't leave home without it now.

There is a distinct difference between "fixing" and "patching"

You can call it what you want. It doesn't leak anymore, and that's all I care about.

Patching is fixing? No?

You're right...I should have said repairing. Just my opinion..but I am a plumber on yachts and Rvs so I'm just a little anal about stuff like that. Usually by the time a customer calls for something like this they have so much tape, epoxy and other patches it takes me twice as long to repair the original leak.
