Best way to sell MH??

Live in very rural area of NETX where MH is not so popular on folks "to buy" list. What is the better sites to list and what is a reasonable price to ask? NADA low wholesale is $106k. Is 20% off that too reasonable? Thanks for any advice. Bill

Bill if you look at the top of the page you will see a classifieds tab. It's one place to advertise. Craigs list, Autotrader and some big dealers like PPL in Houston are good too.

Craigslist. It's free and a goto place for many buyers.

Good suggestions on the advertising. You may also want to visit the Escapee forums and post your ad in the Market section there, which is free.

On the pricing, that is a tough one to call as a great deal depends upon the time in which you plan to sell. The better the price the more quickly it will sell, in most cases. Most dealers will give you about 80% of book wholesale on an RV that is to be traded in so you are thinking in the right area of pricing. You have to balance the fact that you will never get any more than your asking price, against the fact that most of us are bargain hunters and that is even more true for those who are willing to travel a long way to see the RV.

If there is a major consignment dealer somewhere not too far away, I suspect that they would be better at selling it for you and would get a better price. In Texas there are two with really good reputations for both buyer & seller that come to mind. In the Dallas area is Motorhome Specialists and in the Houston area it would be PPL RV. If you are too far from either of those, I suggest that you look in an area of medium to large market that is closer to you.
