better straps for tow dolly axel/ tire?

hi there i am new to this towing thing with a tow dolly and was wondering witch is safer and easier to tow with i have a volvo c70 and a f150 that i would be towing at different times depends on the location we are headed to. the tow dolly cam with tire straps and they work but i need to buy different ones ( longer) for the truck, and was wondering if i just switch to axel straps i would only need one set but not sure how they work never seen them in action in person, would they damage the car? how do they hook up? hope to hear from you guys soon. thx

You have to pay attention to where and how you put the axel straps so you do not damage a brake line or any other thing along the axel. I use them when hauling my Grand Cherokee on a trailer, not the dolly.

If you are putting a front wheel drive on the dolly you may not have the option of axel straps depending on the undercarriage configeration, so look close before making your purchase.

Well I have a friend that hauls cars for some local dealers and she is going to make some custom sized straps for me one set for the car and another for the truck
