Beware of SCAM to sell your RV

I was contacted by this company that charged me $400 with a 100% guarantee if I was not satisfied with there attempts to sell my RV. After not receiving one referral and seeing no postings on website they stated my RV would be listed, I requested my money back per guarantee. No response, I got scammed.
Below is the service, Buyer Beware

Use to be a felony to steal >$300. Maybe dialup a local officer, check your options.

I have a friend who had her bank account scammed for several thousand dollars. I live in Ontario, and the bank told her to call the police. She called the police, and they stated that fraud wasn't there jurisdiction, and to call the RCMP. She called the RCMP, and they stated that they only investigate if the fraud is over $10,000. SAY WHAT? That means these weasels can go around ripping everyone off for $9,999, and nothing happens. If you shoplift an apple, they throw your ass in jail. Who makes these rules. Im not sure what the rules are in the states, but they sure aren't doing much to discourage this kind of behaviour north of the border. Sorry to hear of your issues. Lesson learned I guess.

Sorry you got "scammed". What was the website URL you were told your ad would appear? Did you look at other coaches being advertised by them? How did you contact them to request refund?

HOW did you pay them? IF by CC, you may get help from the issuer.

Quick search reveals a BBB rating of “F” based on four complaints in the last three years, most which were similar to the OP’s.

These scams exist because people are lazy and greedy... Do your homework before handing over any money...

Did you do your homework prior and look at other coaches for sale? Google is your friend...always. Took me less than 30 seconds to find negatives...sorry.

They have these little skimmers that can detect and steal your card numbers. then they can use it as your card .It has happened to us 3 or 4 times.

Your money is insured but the bank almost never sees the money back. That's what the bank officer told us.

No idea why you would use that "service". The website is a dead page.
Try Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, eBay Motors for legitimate venues.
Wash the rig, take some good pictures and take 10 minutes to type some factual content and price it reasonably.

Here’s the kicker on banks (I know, kinda a sidebar topic). I went to a week long security training class long time ago. 3 bank security guys in the back. Not the kind you see out front. We trained on how to detect and secure the networks. Geeks! That’s us. [emoji106]They never started opening up until week was half over.

They told us banks have several million dollars taken EVERY SINGLE DAY and they don’t know where it goes. Banks don’t talk about it...EVER. It’s an unspoken rule.

Because...would you want to put your $$ into a bank that was losing millions a day?[emoji15]

I probably have mine in that very kind of bank but how would I ever know? I don’t worry about it but it was definitely [emoji15] topic at the time.

When I was younger I worked in a bank, long before the internet. Was told that they loose more money from bad checks than hold ups. Was advised that if someone came in to rob the bank, just give them the money and get them to leave quick so nobody gets hurt. Hold ups costs less than bad checks.

It's fairly easy to fall for this. The url in the first post is almost identical that of an established consigner. it appears to be a deliberate deception.

sellmyrv.today rather than the established sellmyrvtoday.com

I attempted to contact the company by phone (left messages). By email, and I checked the websites, my RV does not appear. They listed m RV on RVTrader for about a week, the agreement was the listing would stay for at least 6 months. The website is Down also Sellmyrv
