Hello MVP,
I would recommend using RV Park Reviews for your initial start. From there, use Google Maps for a good aerial view of the campground. This is how I selected parks to go to with my 43 foot tag axle.
Regards

A good publication to have on hand is "Big Rigs Best Bets". It's a great little book that has campgrounds that accommodate big rigs and each site has been personally visited by the authors. I don't leave home without it.

Steven, thanks for the tip on the Big Rigs book. I'm going to order one.
I also use Good Sam Campground search and check the box on the left for large RV's.

"MVP"......There are really none that are close by. I've lived in the area for 40 years and there is nothing near the library. I can see the library from my house.

The only available RV park where you'll fit, is just off Interstate 5 in Santa Clarita, about 32 miles from the library.

Valencia Travel Village - Castaic, CA - RV Park Reviews

The road in front of the RV park is an easy drive to the library. It runs through the City of Filmore, over the hill into Moorpark, and dumps you off in Moorpark, about a 1000 yards from the library....pretty easy drive. Simi Valley and the City of Moorpark are adjacent to each other. The library sits pretty much on the border between the two.

There is a Walmart in Simi Valley, about 6 miles form the Library that allows RV parking. Lastly, there is also an Elks Lodge in Simi Valley that has RV parking if you're an Elk.

Lastly, there is an RV park in Malibu that will fit your rig, but is a little more difficult to reach and would be more of a drive.

Big Rig Parks

I also live in the area and concur with Don. The back roads from Travel Village are pretty about 35-40 min drive to the Library. There is a KOA campground in the Santa Paula area but have never stayed there. http://koa.com/campgrounds/ventura-ranch/local-area/

If you are a member of the Elks there is a lodge in Simi Valley with RV facilities.

Otherwise as previously mentioned Valencia travel park. Have stayed at Valencia several times and it's OK.
