Would like bike rack (2 bikes) for our 2012 Itasca 30A..any recommendations for either hitch mounted or ladder mounted. Pros/cons for both. Thanks

I'd get one of these.

Robot Check

The hitch is stronger and ladder mounts tend to cover up the taillights more. I also found that these hold more securely than other styles and are easier to use. The bikes do not bang or rub together.

Same thing I use, but it's called Sport rack. Works great and locks bikes on the hitch and locks the hitch onto the mount.

There are many choices for racks that go into the receiver of your coach and that is the way I carry mine. I would not suggest hanging them on your ladder for many reasons, mainly not as strong and potential to damage things.

I'm very happy with our Swagman 2 bike carrier. Well built and lockable. Bike sit in the wheel wells of the rack. Over Ten Thousand miles and zero ploblems. Hitch mount on the tow.

I've used this one from Curt, the people who make the hitches. It clamps around the receiver and works well. You just have to make sure your receiver is long enough to have clearance and one of the hitch stabilizers (Quiet Hitch) helps to reduce motion. I got one on Amazon for about $80.
