Black/ Gray holding tanks

Ok so this is my first rv ever and after much frustration someone finally showed how to dump the septic, but before I knew how to read the panel. For some reason the gray tank didn't empty all the way even though the hose stopped draining. Anyone got any thoughts or suggestions?

It could be your sensor is just not working right, or you didn't have your RV level.

Likely the sensor. Often they are not accurate. Suggest to fill and empty the tank a couple three times to clean gunk from the in tank sensor.

I agree! It could also be that your indicator just needs adjustment (if it has that feature).

There's not much chance that a gray tank is not going to completely empty. If the indicator is adjustable, adjust it to read "Empty" while you know it is actually empty.

Don't sweat it, if there's a gallon or two left IMO no big deal. You can get a clear piece to put on the dump port in line with the sewer hose so you can tell when tank is done draining easier.
