To each their own. You sir could be ahead of your time. How about wheel skirts? Last week I put some curb feelers on mine. Someone mentioned sidepipes, which could also be nice. Here's a picture of my rig. The wife had me install the pole for her daily aerobic exercise.

Sorry, I just gotta have the shiny wheels. With the blacked out wheels it looks like a fancy FBI mobile command vehicle.

On my Forza, I removed the chrome wheel covers to expose the factory black rims. Then added black chrome hub covers to back and front.

Burnt Bronze

Hard to see, but the wheels are burnt bronze on the MH and the Jeep. It looks much better in the direct sun. Used plastidip so I can peel it of if I get tired of it. Been on the Jeep wheels for over two years so far and many miles off roading.

Hind site being 20/20 i would of absolutely opted for a lighter coach.

I chose black on my renovated vintage Class A, Flatnose Frank

I'm pretty happy w/ the decision.
