RV Business
Thursday, January 11, 2007

Bob Lee has severed his final ties to the company he helped found.

Lee confirmed to RV Business late Wednesday (Jan. 10) that he sold his 577,906 shares of National RV Holdings Inc. stock on Friday, Jan. 5, for an average price of $3.50 per share.

"I don't know who bought it. I put it on the market and let it go," he said.

Lee said he sold his National RV stock because "I didn't think it (the company) would go anywhere...I won't have to worry about it on a day-to-day basis anymore," he said.

LMAO, for those that don't know, there has been a long time squabble between Mr Lee and the Board of directors at NationalRV since they bought out Country Coach, kinda like a differance in opinions No Biggie. In a way I agree with him. I wish National was a bit more responsive to there customers, like answering there phones, and returning messages.

What were you expecting from National? The only material we ever received was an update to the owners manual.

I toured the National RV factory in 2005 and was mildly impressed. Then spent a night at the factory service center and was not impressed at all. However, the Lakeland service facility was superb--too bad the whole organiation cannot be like Lakeland.

I know this is a little off topic but I too fell that NRV could do more to "smooze" thier customers.

Oh, and I almost forgot that we did attend a NRV ralley at Lazy Days compliments of NRV. But it was a sales promotional thing anyway.

When we bought our Safari new, we got all types of things from them, from welcome letters to new jackets. I have not seen any of this from NRV, I'm sure I paid for all that neat stuff with Safari, and it could be the reason NRV's are so reasonable, they don't.
