Is the tv a 12v one or is it plugged into 120v. If these are on an inverter circuit then you may have to start with resetting the circuit breakers on the inverter. If not on an inverter circuit, tv wont work without 120v power.

The radio, well probably missing the power wire somewhere in the wiring. Would have to take the radio out of the dash, check for fuses then check for power on the harness with key in the on position.

The TVs are plugged in so 120 volt. But they should run on battery power? I will reset the breakers. I have a converter as well and will check to see if that has a fuse. Thanks for the reply.

They will run on batteries only if inverter is wired to them. The whole rig will not be on the inverter.

Would not the converter run the TV?

Converter takes 120v power and turns it into 12v to charge your batteries on shore power.

Inverter takes 12v and turns it into 120v power. Depending on the size of the inverter it may only power the fridge if 120v and one or two other outlets. You will have to check how it is wired to be sure.

Some rigs have inverters which convert 12 volts dc to 120 volts ac. Yours may or may not have this option. If it does not, then the tv won't work without shore or generator power. Your 2002 model probably came with a crt TV and if so, I'd say there's decent chance there's no inverter.

If there is an inverter, then you need to check to see which electrical outlets inside the coach it supplies voltage to. If there is an inverter and it is not working, then you need to do some troubleshooting to see why it isn't. Could be a connection(s), a fuse(s), a breaker(s), or that it's simply conked out.

Edited to say: Nevermind the paragraph below this as I doubt it has anything to do with your issue.

On the radio, is this the one in the dash? Our rig only has the dash radio and it loses power when the chassis ignition key is turned off. But, there is a switch in the dash that when flipped, connects the coach batteries to the radio. With this switch, I can take the key out of the ignition and still use the radio. Yours may have a similar switch.

Just turn the battery disconnect to the ON or USE position and all should be well.

I suspect the tv and other entertainment devices are on an dedicated inverter-supplied circuit and won't work unless that inverter has 12v power. That lets the tv work even without shore or genset power. The radio, of course, uses direct 12v power and probably gets switched to use house 12v while parked. With genset or shore power, the coach converter/charger provides the 12v power. Without them running, the battery is the only available source and you have turned it off.

The battery disconnect is turned on. I have an 1800 watt inverter installed aftermarket and a solar panel on the roof. Lights work when the battery is in use and not store. Without being on shore power or generator running. I have a switch in my engine compartment that maybe the reason for things not working. I am trying to figure it all out as we are off on a long trip in 3 days. New to this n
