Bounder 35K drivers slide failure

I have had two major issues with my drivers side slide on my 2014. Both issues have to do with binding when pulling in the slide. First the slide jammed on the aluminum ramp and repeatedly gouged the ramp. Just today the slide refused to move in ( binding but motor trying) and after many attempts it finally came in but tore a piece of aluminum under the slide. I'll try to attach a photo of the tear. Has anyone had this problem and had a fix or repair done. I have talked to some other owners who complained about this slide. I would appreciate any insight into this problem.

Contact manufacturer asap as it should be in warranty.

trying to get slide repaired

Wow, the industry is really in trouble when the manufacturer can even help you with out two to three months notice. Fleetwood is willing to peak at the issue if I bring it in but not repair. That has to wait to a scheduled appointment. I can't believe this is the second time the slide has hung up and now is torn up.

What kind of slide is it? There are some that seem to be more of a problem than others.

bounder slide

Not sure what you mean by what kind. It is power gear drive and is the style that rides up onto the floor and goes out to close to level with the floor. My issues seem to be either going out too far for the ramp or too low but I'm really not sure. I am going to get Fleetwood to at least tell me if it is okay to move out.

Does the floor of the slide have a dip in it causing the bind, or can you tell what is causing the bind? How much weight is stored in the compartments attached to the slide?

Weight is very light not much stored right now and inside is also light. I was able to move it out 3 inches but it sounds strained
