Bra Question

I have a 1999 Monaco Windsor and the portion of the Bra that covers the headlights rubs against them creates a mark on the actual headlight and the clear vinyl plexiglass. It cuts down the brightness of my lights and I would like to remove that portion. My question is, has anybody cut out that part that covers the headlight and if you did, did the Bra blow up like a balloon when you went down the road?

Can't help you with your exact question, but after having to repaint a nice sports car, I would never have another bra on any vehicle I own....

If it's rubbing in one place, what about the places you don't see ??? good luck !

...plus the effects of moisture that will get trapped between the fabric (sorry, I can't call it a br...) and the paint. I'm with JohnBoy

Yeah for sure and just don't get it, unless you take it off and on with every time you drive and stop, otherwise, it's like not appreciating the looks of what you bought. A lot like the old days of covering up the seats of your new car with crap plastic and so that they would be like new underneath, long after the car rusted out and getting rid of it, without ever having sat on them
With the bras, I've seen more damage done to the front cap, than anything else.

Often, portions of bras are held on by tabs with small tubes sewn into it. The tabs are shoved down into slots, like where a fender meets the hood. You might be able to cut back the bra, use the excess to create a tab and force it in along the edge of the headlight to keep the bra stable.

So you are telling us that the bra is irritating and causing a rash on the headlights?
Sounds painful to me.

for the love of god throw the BRA in the trash. When I bought my coach I had to take the bra off to inspect the generator. Everything that was covered by it was destroyed. I have to repaint the entire front cap. thats 6 colors if I want all the stripping to match. I have full pint no decals. the finish on it looks amazing for a 97' except where the bra was.

Bra Question

Yes, I would always vote for the braless look.

Oh....wait....are we talking about a motor home?
