While having a happy hour chat here at the Los Mangos RV Park in Bucerias Mexico, someone asked me when I last changed my Air Brake Dryer Filter....duh...guess what the answer was. Apperently due to the high humidity along coastal Mexico the filter should be changed yearly.
Well Ive been crawling underneath (not easy for this fat boy) my 1998 Allegro Bus trying to find the blasted thing.
Any feedback would be appreciated.

Hi grampakoot,
Your question is very brand, year and model specific. Consider posting this question in the Tiffin Owners Forum. On the iRV2 main page scroll about 1/2 way down and you will see the forum. I suggest this because nobody knows your coach like somebody who owns one just like yours.

Most Air Dryer filters are mounted on the frame near the rear axle. It is a very large cylinder canister with air lines attached to it. Your air system needs to be drained prior to changing it out. If you have a Freightliner chassis, call them with your VIN # and they can give you the replacement filter number. www.rvchassisparts.com is where I purchased mine from.

Good luck!

All dryers I have seen are mounted to the same thing that cuffs when the air pressure it finished building.

So let it build air and listen to where it cuffs from.
