Brake Controller Harness (Ford)

I found the stock plug up front under the dash but in the rear there is no plug just the wires.

What is the best and easiest plan of action.

99 georgetown f53 chassis.
p3 break controller with ford harness converter.

To do what?

They tucked a pigtail with bare wires up behind our parking break and eventually it moved and started blowing break fuses each time we engaged it. Screwed up our travel plans a year ago until a Ford dealer figured out Coachmen screwed up. The stepped up and paid the bill$700! While the said it was as isolated case, I’m betting it wasn’t.

Im trying to install a new break controller and I dont really want to run new wires back there if I dont have to.

It sounds like what is going on with me, except its in the back above the spare near the frame rail.

update: Found all the wires, they were just above the spare tire. They were all marked with tags naming what they are. Everything installed now I just have to test it all.
