brake lights wont turn off????????

We have an 06 Monaco Dynasty. We pulled into this park this afternoon and found our brake lights still on. We tried to do several things to get them to go off, but nothing works. Finally I cut off the batteries and they went out, but when I turn back on the batteries, they came back on. Need help.

Thanks
Pat

On my Monaco I have two brake light switches in the generator compartment on the drivers side just visible at the top corner of the opening as far forward as you can go. The exhaust brake can stick on and keep the brake lights on and the engine brake can turn them on.
