Red face Brand Newbie No Start 94 Holiday Rambler 38WB

Hello,
My name is John and I am brand new here. This is my first post here so hope I am doing it right.
I have a 1994 Holiday Rambler 38WB and I can not seem to get power or a signal from my Allison Transmission and HWH leveling system to the ignition.
I saw a post here where someone hooked up a "NASCAR Switch" to the Starter. I am wondering if I can do such a switch? I have power to the ignition switch and an alternate source to air up the system.
I live in Northern Wisconsin and am a retired medicine man at heart I can save your life or prevent you from sudden death, but when it come to working on a MH like this one, I am needing to be advised when it comes to the mechanical and electrical issues with this. So does anyone have any "positive" suggestions? I will appreciate any feed back. I sure hope I am posting this in the right spot

Hi John, here is the link to the thread I think you're referring to pertaining to the "NASCAR switch" ...it is in the "Spartan Motorhome Chassis Forum" so you may want to repost over there and make reference to the thread below ...?:

Engine will not start normally from key switch

I have 2003 isl 400 dynasty and I can not get her to start if eng is warm. I happened to start onan to run the ac and when I hit the key it started right away. Now IF IT IS NOT cold I start gen first and it starts so go figure.
