Broken suspension part
Found a broken part yesterday. On the driver side, rear. On the massive sway bar there is a mount with a rubber bushing that connects the chassis to the sway bar. The rubber bushing is dangling on the sway bar but the mount has been torn away.
What is this part?
When we drove it for the first trip through Charleston, SC, I noticed it wanted to lean more in a left turn. In a right turn, it felt stable. I'm sure this is a critical part.

If you are talking the mount on the axle that houses the main bar and large bushing, that is your sway bar mount/bracket. With that gone you are certainly going to lose anti-sway control. It's not dangerous, but I would want to fix it soon.
If it's actually ripped off, you'll probably need a frame shop to do some welding. Hopefully the bracket just backed out and fell off.

Nope, its torn off. The shackle bolts that go over it are pointed to the rear and the remnants of the top of the of the bracket are still there. There are deep scrape marks on the bottom of the sway bar. Pretty tall, what ever they ran over. I'll need the replacement bushing and new shackle bolts for sure.

I guess I'll change change the pair and put urethane back there, one less thing to worry about I guess...
I get better search results using the P32 instead of the P30.
I use both just in case...

Thought I had a P30 at first... Check you VIN... Digits 5,6&7 should say P**... Mine is 1GBJP32,,,,,,,,, There are other variants... PM me if I can help, or heck just ask here... Either way,, I'll help where I can... Monkey

I should also point out, I grew up working on vehicles in a shop. Worked on heavy equipment in the past, and have been working as a CAD/CAM CNC programmer operator for the last 15 years. I'm a Machining department head right now. Tool & Die, MIG, TIG and computers, I've dabbled in a lot of stuff.
I can turn wrenches, trouble shoot and fabricate stuff. Once I get all the bugs chased out of this thing, I'm going to make some cool custom stuff for it. I'll share. Keep a weather eye out!

Here are photos of my old/new rear bushings....old ones were totally decomposed.
AND, the bushing/cap as its supposed to look when installed.

Where did you get yours? Mine has the 1-3/4" rear sway bar.
