Brought her home-HR Navigator

Hello everyone,

After many questions and much anxiety we finally purchased and brought home our new to us 2008 Holiday Rambler Navigator, Cummins 600 ISX, Caspian IV floor plan. It has one of the largest kitchen counter tops we have seen and love this feature.

I would like to post photos and put it into our signature but do not know how to do either. Could anyone describe how?

We had some question about some rust on the chassis but after being checked out by a truck shop there was no issue to be concerned with. We are still working with the dealer to get a few things fixed but this is an awesome coach. We were able to get a great deal and are very happy with the way things have gone. The coach has 2012 front tires, brand new rear tire and all new batteries.

We will be starting full time living in it May 2014.

Thank you all for your help.

Stuart & Leslie

X's 2 Sounds like a nice coach, yes very nice. I don't know how to do it so maybe we both will learn how too.

PS, you can still post pictures here too or @ the "New Rig Forum"

Upload your pics to a host, like photobucket. Then, when posting, see that little icon in the tool bar in the Quick Reply? That's where you'd post the URL for your picture

Rust isn't usually much of an issue on these big rigs. It would take most things on the chassis decades to rust through.

There's only one brand new tire of the four on the rear? Don't care for that idea. Find out the date codes for them. Check the date code for the one that looks brand new too. You might want to slowly replace one at a time, like one per month, if it's a money issue. Or just replace those 3 right now.

Have fun with your new rig.

Way to go.....good company and the Navigator is certainly a good model choice. I have had a HR MH and 5th wheel and found both to be very good RVs. Good luck with yours.
