You're talking 12 years old! That is very old for tires. Don't understand "out of the question" comment but, JMHO, I would not drive on them.

I think the out of the question could mean because of the price involved for replacing all 8. That's quite a sum of $$.

Could very well be...although I can't imagine owning a MH and not being able to put tires on it.

Wait until one (or more) of those old tires let go. Then you'll find out what "quite a sum of $$" really means!

If ones blows out the damage will cost a lot. Don't take a chance

We all know there are times when you can't fix it. I don't buy anything on credit. I own my home, cars, motorcycles and everything else free and clear. I used my savings to buy this MH and spent $16,500 getting it right. The seller told me the tires were new and technically they are. They still have the tits on them with less than 3000 miles. I got a price of $3,850 to replace all 8 of them and I don't have that kind of cash left laying around. I didn't know about the date thing when I bought it or I would have gotten a discount for the tires or passed on it. I guess now the only thing I can do is put 2 new ones on the front until I can afford the other 6 and hope for the best. I don't drive it over 60 and most times it's under 55. I have put over 1000 miles on it since I bought it and I guess I have been lucky. I know that you all know you can't have a MH sitting in the yard and not use it with this beautiful weather we are having here in Florida. So short trips, going slow and a few prayers is all I can do for now.
