Burnt out bulbs in ceiling rope light?

We have a '04 Newmar Mountain Aire 4016 that has rope lights across the ceiling in 6 places for "mood" lighting. The rope lights are encased in clear 3/8" flexible plastic and held in a channel in some plastic moulding between ceiling panels. One stretch of 6 consecutive lights apparently burned out in one of the strings. I cannot access either end of the ropes where they go into the wall top. Is there a way to fix these 6 little LED lights?

I've repaired LED rope lighting in my stick house where they had installed 12v kick toe lighting under the kitchen and bathroom cabinets. I'm not sure if the same type of ropes are used in motorhomes or not as I don't have them in mine so I'm not sure if this will help you at all.

There are a lot of videos out there that will walk you through repairing them. I've included one below. Basically, you want to cut at the designated marks which will be between two jumper-wire points. Usually, you will see the cut indicators on the rope. In addition to purchasing rope light sections, you'll also need to purchase the splices and clips.

I had the same issue in a few places and I was able to get them to light by tapping on them firmly with a couple fingers

I took your advice and gave them a knock with my knuckles and they came back on! Earlier tonight, two of the small 2" spot lights in the ceiling stopped working and I fixed them by removing the lens and tapping the little bulb. DW now thinks I can fix anything! I appreciate the advice!

Super. Glad it worked for you too. The best fixes are the quick ones. Even better if they're free.
