It's easy to tell when a salesman is lying, their lips move!
Just kidding, sorry for your bad experience. Not all salesman are bad, but many are and outright lie. It's a tough market and many feel that if they were to tell you everything, no one would ever buy anything.
I doubt that the 250 point inspection is more than a marketing tool. No doubt they did some things, but most inspections of this type test things like; does the air conditioner turn on and is it cool-check, does the battery start the motor-check, does the fridge turn on and cool-check, does the light turn on-check.
These so called inspections would normally not test battery strength nor would they check more than to see that the shocks are not leaking. It is buyer beware and the reason that an extended warranty service contract is a viable option for used RV purchases. Maybe the Guy or Gal that owned it got rid of it to move up or maybe because it was approaching the "it's gonna need work age", you never know!
Good luck and hope it gets better!
