I live in San Jose, I have been reading everything I can on purchasing a used MH, I have learned a lot and have gotten some good advice. My primary use of the motorhome will be as a Mobile Chiropractic Office. I am looking for any advice that the more experienced MH owners may have on what things to be aware of. Also, since Chiropractic patients often have low back pain that prevents them from climbing stairs, I am looking for advice on where to purhcase or a foldable ramp that would make it easy for entry to the motorhome.

Considering the following, what good advice can you give me?

1. The MH will be used 4 days a week.
2. Driven less than 20 mile per day.
3. Needs to be maintained at 70 degrees inside.
4. Needs to be able to have two special tables weighing 300 lbs each added to the inside.
5. Needs to have the ability to run a computer, printer and photocopier.
6. A business phone line. (not sure how to do that one without going wireless)
7. Will never see a mountain road.

I plan to remove the following items from the MH;

1. Kitchen sink
2. Stove / oven
3. lower cabinets
4. Dining Area
5. Sofa / Sleeper
6. Bed in Bedroom
7. Possibly the shower.

(leaving Micowave and frig depending on location)

Any advice?

Hi Mark_in SJ,
Welcome to iRV2. Consider the Newmar AllStar. Go here to see the floor plans. There are several floor plans that allow you to customize the last 10-12' of the coach to any confirguation you want. Because it is a mid engine coach, the rear entry is much lower than the typical fron entry. One can have the additional rear entry for the office. In addition, one can block off the front (private part of the coach) from the rear with a door.

Winnebago also has a division that builds specialty coaches such as this. You might want to get in touch with your local Winnebago dealer or the factory to get further information.
