If you like it, buy it. I gladly bought my orphan, and am very glad I did.

Les,

Have a 2002 Monaco Dynasty 400 hp now. Have a down payment on a Beaver Patriot Thunder Vicksburg 43' 550 hp. Going to Huston from Denver to decide Friday.
looks good from afar. Any thoughts? We are looking for more room, the bigger engine and want it as well built as the Dynasty. Thanks Tom Ryan

What year is the new Beaver? I've had a Dynasty before the Beaver as well.

We had a 1991 Beaver Marquis for 19 years and 154,000 miles loved he coach and it was still going strong when we traded up to our present Monaco. Still miss the supreme quality of the old Beaver.

We have a 2000 Patriot Thunder bought 4 years ago and love it. Can't say enough good things about the guys at BCS in Bend. They've always come through for us when we needed parts (and service when we were in the area). As others have said, all the major chassis components are pretty standard stuff and we've had no problems getting service. The Beaver Ambassador Club is another valuable technical resource.

The Beaver is easily as good as the Dynasty and surpass it in many ways!

If you'd like, send me an email with the link and I'll have a look at it and let you know what I think.

I believe the 2002's were a "transition" year as Beaver and its parent company SMC became part of Monaco. Some coaches are sort of a mix of both companies; some have SMC chassis, some use the Monaco Roadmaster chassis.

At the risk of correcting you about your own MH, the model is a Marquis not a Marque. The Beaver Ambassador Club has a forum that covers all Beaver models.

Buying a used Beaver class A

I've got to say, after reading this thread, I started looking at Beaver coaches. The wood work is astounding. I am very impressed. Never saw much that made me want to upgrade from my current coach, but some of the Beaver coaches I have seen for sale have truly got me to thinking.
