Buying a used rv, National vs other models

looking to buy a 2007 National tropical 350 lx or a 2008 National tropical tc36c....The 350 is a cat and the tc36 is a 340 cummins,,,,we have a 2000 diplomat pusher 38 ft and want to drop down to a 32-35 footer, Any comments on these units or a recommendation on a differ brand. Not oppsed to gas, just afraid we are used to ride and power of a deisel pusher, thanks Kevin

My only thought are parts for a manufacture not in business. Had a coach get wrecked. Damaged compartments doors and had NO problem getting new ones.

There are sources out there for National parts. Check the National Owner's forum here and the National groups on Yahoo.

Hi ksterl01,
Check out the Newmar Brand. The Ventana (DP) starts around 34'. For gas power, they have the Bay and Canyon Star models that are quite nice.

In the years you are looking at, Newmar also made a Grand Star (FRED) in the length you are looking at.
