Any one in the USA who has purchased a MH in Canada? Would be interested in the process.

I do not understand your question since you live in Canada? Do you mean buying in America while living in Canada to take advantage of the exchange rate now? This sounds like a good idea, but do not know what the customs cost would be to bring it back into Canada. Based purely on exchange rate, you could get a $100,000 coach for less than $80,000. s/Toby

Not sure exactly what you are asking, especially since you are already in Canada.

You have to obey all the US import and Canadian export regs. The vehicle has to meet US highway safety standards or be upgraded to meet them before it can be imported.

Unfortunately the exchange is not in my favor. Am putting the MH up for sale and was wondering if it would be worth it to advertise on both sides of the border, as a US resident can purchase it for 30% less than a Canadian.

You'd have to compare the prices but from what I've seen, even with the falling dollar, it's still cheaper to buy in the US. (I think if the CND keeps dropping to under $0.70US, then it might start being worth it).

I also suspect that you'd have a hard time selling now in Canada (since your RV would need to be winterized by now) so you'll probably have to wait to see what the dollar is like in the spring).
