Buying Tiffin Allegro Bus

Have been away from RVing for couple years and am thinking about buying a 2008 Allegro Bus with only 50,000 miles with new tires and no damage history. Any hints out there or things to double check on this model? Thanks - Arnie

Check for the Big 3 repairs. Current owner should have had the 1) Roof Rails replaced, 2) Wet Bay Floor replaced, 3) Drivers Side Slide Out Floor replaced. Tiffin was making these repairs free of charge for up to 8 years, so they should have already been done. Also look for cracks in the side walls around the slide out openings at the bottom corners. Again Tiffin was covering repairs to these areas for up to 10 years, I believe.

I traded a 40' Allegro Bus with 75,000 miles when we bought the 2013. We had a QGP and loved it, at least until the DW fell in love with the rear bath in the 2013. Oh well, when Mama's happy, everyone's happy.

We seriously loved the 2008. We did have the wet bay floor replaced at Tiffin, and the usual occasional warts, but it was in first class shape when we turned it in and the new owner got a peach.

Good luck with yours.
