CA diesel rules

Anyone know if CA is making older DP convert to DEF? Live in TX, but travel to CA, & have gas A now, but might up grade to 09 or older DP. While in CA heard on news CA was making older school buses convert or junk them.

That is not happening with Motorhomes. California does crazy things with government agencies, they can because of funding comes from the state. You will be fine.

+1
Yeah, you wont be registered in CA right?? So even if it were the case you would not have an issue. Maybe on some Bus conversion or some Detroit D 2stroke.. not on a 2000-2010 gen motor.

Motor homes are exempt from the conversion process. It applies to business and corporations that use diesels. I have the official notice and the exempt statement, I just have to find it and post it on here.
Scott

P.S. On edit:
Well, I found the document and, it's in a PDF form. But, when I try and link it here, the "system" tells me it's too big of a document. Well, not sure what to do now. But, here's a highlight of what it says. Take a special look at # 10. There is much lead-in to what you're reading and, much afterwords. I only highlighted the part where it mentions exemptions and, specifically, motorhomes.
Scott

I'm pretty sure that DEF conversion applies only to CA registered vehicles and not to visitors.

Well, as I showed, motor homes are exempt so, you can move there and register it there or not, either way, you don't have to do any conversion.
