Cable tv cable

I have a 2005 cross country and would like to see if anyone knows of another cable tv cable that goes under the coach anywhere. The cable that is in my bin near the water hook up is not working and may have been cut or chewed.

I haven't found a cable in any storage bins below but maybe someone else knows.

Thanks,
Tony

Usually a manufacturer will install the cable hook up in a compartment on the left side that runs to the media center. Then perhaps a cable to any outside TV hook up in a right side compartment. The coax for rear TV probably runs in the overhead, not underneath. You might use a signal tracer to determine how much of the coax is good and cut and install a connector to attach a new section of coax to reconnect the signal from cable hook up to media center.

Are you sure the cable is bad? If you have a selector box of many buttons (BOMB) make sure it is set correctly. Most of the cable input coax runs go through an amplifier/splitter for the over the air antenna. You need to make sure the power is off to use cable, or the splitter may have failed.

I have moved cables around on my splitter/selector box to be able to use the cable straight to a satellite box. I checked continuity on the cable and didn't get anything but haven't done a bunch of good tests. I know I couldn't get signal from my dish thought the cable.
