Yes, very sad. And yes, probably an illegal, very sad for his family, especially the kids.
And that is why I am armed, and aware as a former police officer and Chief of Police for 9 years.

Wonder why he didn't walk up to a say 36 yo in good shape with some sort of protection. Always go for the weak and easy, or smaller then them. NEVER open that door to anyone without knowing who they are and what they want (while holding your 1911 behind your back). DW loves her JIC!

And how would you know that is 'probably' true from the information in the article? His last name?

Very sad. Sick folks and just plain bad people are out there. Not much you can do about them if they hands down get the jump on you, other than be aware of whats around you, and try to avoid a bad situation.

Yes, very sad. And yes, probably an illegal...

Slim chance, even though they didn't speak English. From Canada, they were French.

The other family involved were named William, Deanna, Samsom, and Jeshiah. William, the patriarch and presumed perpetrator, was outraged that the victim didn't understand English. No telling if his mistrust of foreigners from the North was fueled by politics or talk radio...

Just sayin...
