Ken,

I certainly understand your position. Be aware that if you go to Cummins for standard lube/oil/filter service, you are not going to get an experienced Cummins tech. You will have the newest, lowest paid member of the service staff. If you want a higher level of service then you need to discuss your expectations with the service writer.
