To calibrate the gray button unit,

Raise the unit until it is perpendicular to the ground (plumb).
remove the power from the back of the wall plate.
find the posts on the back of the plate that read CAL
use a paperclip (unless the jumper is on your STO post) to jump across the CAL posts as you reapply the power and turn the unit on.

When it starts flashing numbers on the front of the wall plate. Remove the power and the jumper.

It should read 24 in this position.

Mine stopped working a few years ago and rather than spend something like $100 to replace it , I use the table below.

Best answer: Remove the item in question along with the crank-up satellite dish. Purchase and install an automatic satellite. Not too expensive and well worth the price!
