Can I put TPMS on braided extenders
I have these inside dually valve extensions. I am assuming that these are NOT conducive for use with TPMS Sensors. My assumption is based on the possibility of the braided stainless to wobble when moving with a weight attached to the end of it. Am I right?

I've had mine on for almost three years. I don't think they weigh enough to be an issue.

Hmmm.... I would have thought the OP was correct that the braided extenders were too weak to handle the weight of the sensor in motion but it looks like Cliff is having good luck with it.

Braided extensions are just one more place for failure or a slow leak to occur.
Your best solution is to replace all of the valve stems with ones that are positioned correctly and are long enough to easily fill and check the air pressure of each tire and will also accept your TPMS sensors.
I chose a complete set of Borg valve stems and I haven't had one problem with them in 3 years of use.
I can't speak the same for the Doran TPMS. Those sensors are a POS and do not work in cold temps. I am switching to the Tire-SafeGuard TPMS.

If braided extenders are supported I don't see a problem with them per se. My rears are on braided extenders that are secured by a metal bracket. My concern with any extender in my front wheel application was that the sensor would be protruding where maybe it could get hit my a curb, road debris, or similar.

I have my Pressure Pro senders installed on braided extenders but they are supported on the hub with brackets. Been running these for 6 years with no problems, yet. I've had my Pressure Pro senders operate as designed in cold temps without a problem. Not saying they are the best by any means, just that they have worked fine for me.

Where does one go to get metal tire valves installed so that extenders are not necessary? Since I have an F53 chassis, would I go my local ford dealer? There are no truck shops in my area that I know of.

I have the TST flow through sensors mounted on braided extensions. THe extensions are supported by brackets mounted on the hub cover. Before I switched to the flow through sensors I had TST's other sensors mounted on the same extensions. 2 years now without a problem.
At next tire change I will replace the braided with rigid valve stems of the correct length.

Some tire shops can and will handle RV/truck size tires. Call around asking if they do and if they don't do they know who does.

Cliff, those look nice !! Are they attached (sp?) with brackets to keep them still ? We also have braided extensions on the inner duals, but I need a new set for both rear duals. What brand is best ??

They are not attached ( probably should be ). I'm pretty sure I asked TST about this and they said it would be ok. Sorry , I don't remember the
brand.

I ran Pressure Pro sensors on braided extensions for 5 years with no problems at all. Just make sure the extensions are firmly clamped down at the outer end - you definitely do not want them flapping around! With or without sensors on them.
Consider solid extensions instead, if your wheel liners will accommodate them. There are various shapes and lengths available - Wheelmasters is one good brand.
