Hi y’all!
This is my first post as I just joined today, so hopefully I’m doin’ this right.
I’ve got a ‘93 Southwind, 30’, experiencing some braking issues. I hadn’t taken my rig out in about 6 months or so until this summer, when we packed up and headed to the lake not too far from home. I tow my 32’ Eliminator trailer with no issues at all, for the last 2 summers. Last trip out, as I’m about to launch my boat, I’m driving through the lot and have no brakes.... Pumping my brakes gave me some braking power back, which leads me to believe it’s strictly a booster issue, master cylinder, or simply that I’m low on brake fluid. But I don’t think it’s my pads or rotors, because once I pump them, I’m getting stopping power back temporarily.

I cannot for the life of me locate my brake fluid reservoir! So I’m sendin’ out an SOS. I look forward to hearing from you all, as I’ve already been able to diagnose a few other issues simply by reading through the forums. This site is great!

If it is a Ford chassis look just above the driver side front wheel.

I'm guessing under the driver's left knee.

I'm on a Chevy P30 (P32) chassis. I will have to check tomorrow if it's in the location you suggested. I'll come back with an update.

Any immediate thoughts of what the specific issue may be? I'm crossing my fingers for just a low fluid level, but I haven't had any visible leaks.

I had the same question aprx 1 month ago. It is on a rail under the driver’s feet. Open the doghouse cover look under the driver’s side, it is accessible from there. In some cases it maybe easier to access from under the coach. If you need a part number from Auto Zone/Rockauto you can pm me.
