Sureflo doesn't recommend using a expansion tank with the smart sensor 5.7

I mounted mine on a 2 by 4 then a big thick foam under that.
Added on extra hose with a loop. Have to listen real careful to hear it.

I was thinking of suspending mine in a web of bungees, kind of like the old microphone vibration mounts you used to see. Completely isolate it from the frame of the RV. Only thing I would worry about is it bouncing around while traveling, and torquing when it runs.

Mine was a lot quieter before I let it run for several minutes with no water in the system. When I refilled the system, the water pump seems a lot noiser and vibrates more. Do you think I ruined it? It still works, no problem with pressure, but its just SO MUCH LOUDER than before....

As Triker said I just installed a Surflo 5.7 and the instructions said if your system has a expansion tank disconnect it.
