Cannot start MH from chassis battery.

I own a 2004 THOR 30Q, ford chassis, intellitec battery control center. The trouble I am having is I couldn't start the MH today. I used the aux battery's to start it and it fired right up. I plug in to shore power and the chassis side fires right up. The the chassis battery test out at 12.4volt ..

Can this be a bad chassis switch or something else. The chassis power is intermittent and not enough to start the engine..

Any help would be appreciated.

Bad battery. A full charged battery is 12.6 volts.

Get it load tested to confirm.

Many if not most units do not charge the engine battery when they are plugged into AC power. It sounds like the battery ran down due to either prolonged storage time or end of life of the battery. That is why you see a lot of talk about various battery maintainer schemes.

The units that do charge the engine battery from the house battery also fail over time. Either the big relay or the control board can fail. That is why you fine many threads about BIRD systems.

It sounds like you need to start by figuring out what you have. If I had to bet I would think Thor did not put money into a BIRD.
