An old boating phrase " if you haven't been aground , you haven't been around " applies here.

If we are talking about awards I think we should consider cost of repair to fix these "Operator Error" issues. I am up to $4250 for 2 AC shrouds and will need another one soon, 2 lock arms, one dash radio, a set of 6 tires for not keeping the air pressure up and not protecting them from the Florida sun and numerous plumbing parts. I don't count stuff I left behind because if it was important I would have gone back for it. I also don't count stuff I broke but just never got around to fix. Thank the lord my gas cap is on a cord.

Wow, now I feel lucky that my repairs only cost $1150.

The previous owner put velcro strips on the inside of the fuel door and the top of the fuel cap. Anytime I fuel up, I just stick the cap to the inside of the fuel door and it won't close until I put the cap back on.

My last stop before this though I did disconnect the water hose and left the pressure fitting behind on the faucet. So I guess I can join the oops club. lol

You're only a Junior member. Now if you pulled away and ripped the faucet completely off....

I do a complete walk around our coach after I check that all the lights are operating.
DH then pulls to the street way and I check the under area of where we were. All bases covered right? So why do we have to stop before we are too far away to check that we have x, y or z. Here's my sign.

Count me in

When I realized what I had done, I stopped at the next truck stop and asked if anyone had left a fuel filler cap. The counter guy hauled out this big box and said 'Help yourself'. Found one that fit first time.

One thing about it. I never lose anything. I go to town buy something, take it home, put it up and forget where I put it. When I need it, I can't find it and go back to town and buy it again. When I get home, I find the other one. I may not be the founder of this Club, But I am one of the top officers.
