Can't close left GE residential refrigerator door

We have a GE residential refrigerator in our 2011 Tiffin Bus. Until today it has been problem free. Today, after a short 150 miles on the Interstate, my wife pointed out that the left door wouldn't close. I have checked the hinges and see no movement of bending. The latches appear to be OK and the center kick over panel seems to be working correctly. The left and right doors seem to be aligned top and bottom and the gap between the two doors is parallel. The in door shelves are all fine and nothing is hitting the inside shelves. I have opened the right hand door and stuck my head in while closing the left door but can see no impingement. With the left door closed as much as it will go there is about a 5/8" gap at the top and bottom of the door and offset along the front of the two doors.

We have been having poor to no Internet on most of this trip so if anyone has any ideas I would appreciate a call at (530) 227-6050.

Thanks
Harold

I tried calling you, but it went right to voicemail. So, check to make sure the click latches that are fastened to the door haven't clicked closed on the female side of the latch. We had so many problems, that we eventually just took them off. They are brown and located at the very top of the door toward the center and attach to the door and a stationery point not on the refrigerator.

My guess is that part of the latching system (added to RV refers) is at fault. It's either stuck or a piece broke off.

If you can't figure it out, remove the one door and inspect the edges.

Is the storage keep open latch in the storage position? Mine has levers to move over for when it's in storage that will keep the doors cracked open.

Thanks for trying. Not sure why the cell phone problem but you nailed the problem. The female latch receiver, mounted on the top of the door, had closed and was unable to accept the male "hook" on the refrigerator cabinet. Only cost me $ 78 to figure out this embarrassing simple problem!

Thanks everyone
Harold
