Sorry I replied in the wrong place. I haven't managed to check any suggestions yet as my rv is parked at a storage facility and can go till Sunday. I will send an update on Sunday for sure. Thanks for all the advice. Best regards D

Panic over, we found the switch for the slide out. It was under the mirrored vanity above the sink. We though that was for the lights above the mirror but they didn't have bulbs in them so we couldnt check. I pressed it and out it went, after a bit of reluctance. The switch just looked like the other light switches and not like the one for the main slide out. Oh well, live and learn. Thanks everyone for your help. We got there in the end. It even had a dealer stumped when we took it for a service, so I don't feel that bad. �� cheers.
