Can't find the manual slide out brake

I have a 2000 Fleetwood bounder motorhome. The inverter/controller has been malfunctioning, and the parts are on order. However, I am still living in my bounder until the parts arrive.

None of the 12 volt devices are working, including the slide out motor. I saw a metal panel behind the coach batteries that states I can manually release the slide out brake to push the slide out in so my motorhome can be moved to dump the tanks, etc. I took this metal panel off, but I could not see any sort of manual brake. What should I be looking for, or am I not even looking in the right place?

Are they Power Gear electric. If so, the brake is on the motor itself.

Why not plug in an external charger to keep the batteries charged, this should then allow the DC items to work
