Going on 3 days & the beer is still hostage to the compartment?!?! This IS serious. Can this qualify for, at least, a localized disaster & call in the National Guard?

I'm considering making this thread a sticky to get it the attention it deserves.

How is it one careless match can start a forest fire but it takes a whole box to start a campfire?

"I called THORís technical support and they were great about it even thou my warranty is over. They are sending me a new door handle just in case I damage the old one."

Since THOR is sending you a new door handle. They know you will need it. This is not the first!(Drill that baby off)

Go buy your wife a blender. Cheap life insurance. You may make it thru the weekend.
I would not wait for her to come out from under the MH. Run while you still can.

No beer yet... still can't get the door open so we're just waiting to receive the new handle from THOR so we can drill out the old handle.

I've been in the doghouse since the wife was under the rig trying to open the door with a coat hanger. I heard her cussing away, but what I understand now is a spider dropped down on her and she lifted her head real quick and wacked it on the undercarriage. Anyway I needed to get back home for a few days to help my brother in law, no way was I sticking around her. Heading down again to the camp tomorrow to face my punishment with a new blender in hand. She left me a few choice voice messages but can't share them here. She sure is a keeper...

You watch, you'll get in and then fix that door, and the next night some thief will break in within 30 seconds and take your beer, blender, and refrigerator.

Lesson learned, vital supplies go inside the coach with you. Like flying you never put your medicine down below with checked luggage.

FINALLY got my kitchen door fixed this weekend. Had to drill out the shell of the lock with 15 people watching me and laughing as the door finally opened!! To celebrate we all devoured all the beer (nice and cold) and the wife had to go buy another two 30 packs to keep everyone happy.

Wow, that beer was jailed for almost a month. So glad it was set free.
