Carefree door awning - adjustment?

Our new coach has a Carefree door awning and when it extends the fabric does not tension. It appears that the fabric roller continues to unroll ever so slightly after the arms stop extending.

The Carefree info in the manual doesn't address any adjustments but I'm thinking there must be a "stop" adjustment for the fabric roller. Welcome any and all suggestions

The problem with having the fabric sagging is that rain collects big time and the added weight lowers the awning into the swing of the door.

cheers,
Joopy

You can try calling Carefree. Our door hits the awning when it opens...Carefree says it can't be adjusted. I'm working on it anyway.

Well, I found out how to adjust the fabric tension. I noticed two allen screws (one red one white) marked with in and out arrows. After some experimenting, it's the white allen screw that sets the "extend stop" for the fabric and/or the arms.

Sweet, I can now check that off the minor problem list

cheers,
Joopy
